Required permits
Will your child's ride originate from a McKinney address? If so, the transportation service must have a valid permit issued by the City of McKinney! We have permits.
Inclement Weather
- Students Only Shuttle will not operate during inclement weather and will follow the school districts' actions accordingly.
Cancellations
- Cancellations must be made 4 hours prior to pickup. Otherwise, a $30 service fee will be added to your account, if your child is not at the pre-arranged pickup location.
Students Only Shuttle Policies
Students Only Shuttle is dedicated to transporting your child in the safest manner possible. A text message notification will let you know when he/she arrives at the destination.

Shuttle Rules
- Each child will be picked-up and dropped off at pre-arranged locations.
- In order to arrive at our destination(s) on time, each child should be ready to be picked up when the shuttle arrives.
- Drivers will come to a complete stop and open the door before anyone may board or exit the vehicle.
- Drivers may assign seats, if necessary.
- Passengers must be seated and their seatbelts fastened before the shuttle will depart.
- Smoking is not allowed on or near our shuttle vans.
- As long as ring tones are turned down and their use is not disruptive to the driver, cell phones will be permitted.
- The driver is in charge during the entire ride and must be obeyed.
- Inappropriate or disruptive behavior by children (or their parents) will not be tolerated and could result in the termination of shuttle ride services.
- Items left on our shuttles are not the responsibility of Students Only Shuttle.

- Vans are checked daily
- Vans are kept clean
- Vans are equipped with safety belts
- Vans are equipped with Stabilitrak™
- Vans have required permits
About our Drivers
- Drivers are drug tested before hire and randomly thereafter
- Drivers have required permits
- Drivers' DMV / Driving histories are checked
- Drivers' Criminal histories are checked
- Drivers are checked against the Sex Offender Database
- Drivers are given a Personal Driving Test by qualified Instructor
- Drivers wear Uniform shirts displaying the Students Only Shuttle logo making them easily identifiable
